As far as I know in Estonia the bike has to have a white light in the front, a red light or a reflector on the back and yellow reflectors on the spokes. You need to wear a helmet, be sober and when you´re under 14, a license. I´m not 100% sure but I think the bell is also mandatory.
I broke and still break every one of those laws. I didn´t have a front light because I never needed it. It doesn´t really get pitch black around here in the summer and in the winter I rode in the town which has street lights. I had reflectors on spokes and on the back but thanks to my riding style they weren´t there for long. I´ve never worn a helmet on a bike. I´ve ridden while drunk. (I didn´t fall off.) I rode without a license when I was that young. I didn´t have a bell because my bike didn´t have it and frankly that´s just gay...
Even though there are so many rules about bikes I have never (and I mean never) heard anyone get in trouble with the law because they were riding an illegal bike or in the wrong place. I´ve ridden on the sidewalk with a totally busted up illegal bike in front of the police and they just don´t care.
You´re kidding right? Sending our troops there would be the absolute worst thing to do. Not to mention the fact that our military force is no way capable of notably helping anyone against Russia, it would give Russia the perfect excuse to attack us and hence we would be next. Now they have to search for one.
Realistically the next target would be Ukraine, not the Baltic states or Poland or Finland (Tomba, Finland has one of the best political and economical relations with Russia, you´re pals, Russia won´t attack you), because it´s not yet a member of NATO. If Russia goes after Ukraine too, then we should be really worried.
Yeah, because Russia would never ever provoke or fake an attack against itself in order to start a war...
Can´t believe I missed this... You will be the second person on my ignore list but before let me just say this: You Sir, are a f##king idiot. This is not a joke for some snotty little kid safely in his warm home far far away from people dying and suffering. Grow up.
That´s just a Russian propaganda channel in English. You shouldn´t believe a word they say. I remember during the Bronze night they showed a couple with huge bunch of flowers and said that it was a young couple bringing flowers to the monument of the "liberators"... Except in the background there was a looted flower kiosk.
Georgia has retreated deep into it´s own territory and offered Russia a truce. Russia has refused. That in my opinion shows which side wants a conflict and which side wants to end it.
NATO fighters fly over here all the time since we don´t have fighters ourselves. And there´s nothing unusual about a US ship in our ports. That happens all the time too. You seem to think that in the case of an Russian attack USA would actually help... How naive. They´ll probably say some diplomatic bullshit and be done with that.
Russia is showing his muscle and testing the West about their reactions, which have been absolutely toothless. Italy has even shown support to Russia. It´s exactly like Germany´s invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1939. Then the excuse was to defend the Germans living in Sudetenland and it is the Russian reasoning now too. And the West seems to be just looking on like in 1939. It is extremely scary because since there are hundreds of thousands of Russians living here (which weren´t here before WW2) Russia could use that stupid excuse against us or a number of other former Soviet states.
They did sell Coca Cola in Nazi Germany. Even during the war. In fact Fanta was invented in Germany when they couldn´t import the ingredients for Coke anymore.
Technically I´m not wrong. USA was running an isolation policy before WW2. But after googling I found that it started after WW1 and therefore lasted only about 20 years.
I´m sorry but that just isn´t true. USA was running an isolation policy before WW2 which means they did their best not to meddle with other countries (especially Europe) and avoid another war. That´s why they only joined the war after Japan attacked them, even though the Brits were practically begging them since the very beginning. What happened after WW2 is a whole different thing but you can´t say over 100 years.
Most of the people who believe in some kind of religion (not just Christianity) were brought up that way by their parents and were teached to believe and worship since they were infant. You can´t choose until you´re old enough to make your own decisions. That´s why in principle I agree with Becky. Although 18 sounds a bit too harsh, maybe 10 or so. I´m also sure that it won´t happen in the near future so this discussion is a bit pointless.
Sounds exactly like national service here. Except here it´s 8 to 11 months (depending on which division your sent) and mandatory. Although lots of people get out of it with poor health or faked illnesses or telling the psychiater (spelling?) they´re gay or talking random junk so they´re labeled insane.
